A Tribe Called Quest - 1nce Again Remix Breakdown in Ableton Live

This is a demo video that I found in the archives which I made for an event held at Point Blank Music School on 19th March 2017 called ‘Creative Sampling and Production Sessions’. I was challenged to sample a whole bunch of vinyl releases from Brownswood Records, and then use Ableton Live and Push to create a track.
The resulting track actually ended up as a remix of A Tribe Called Quest’s 1996 track ‘Ince again’ as I happened to have the acapella hanging about.
I also inadvertently created a nice chorus hook using the vocal from Anushka’s 2014 track ‘Never Can Decide’
Note because this was originally made in 2017, I was using Ableton Live 9
